Protecting a Legacy
Whether we’re conscious of it or not, flowers have been and continue to be an integral part of our lives. The U.S. floral industry has a rich history, built by generations of botanists, farmers, designers, marketers, retailers and others. It is a history not just of commerce, but a history of how nature and creativity are intertwined to beautify, celebrate and express all the twists and turns of human experience. From cradle to grave, flowers mark the celebrations and milestones of our lives.
Our goal is to bring awareness and more revenue-generating traffic to the floral industry, which stretches throughout the United States. The U.S. floral industry, composed of roughly 30,000 businesses, was estimated in 2020 at $5 billion. This is a platform to amplify the importance of the floral industry, to advocate for a more centralized marketplace, to allow for increased accessibility for businesses and the public, to support and unify the businesses that fall under the floral district umbrella, and to work towards creating legislation to support the economic stability and survival of a centralized floral district.
